Thank you letterr
Immediately following an interview
you should send a thank you letter/note to the
interviewer. This letter may be typed or handwritten.
(As a general rule of thumb, if the interviewer
is a little less than formal and you feel as though.
you and the interviewer had an opportunity to
get friendly or personal, then a handwritten note
would be most appropriate.) Be sure to use professional
stationery.
If, however, your interview is very formal and
the interviewer did not talk with you on a personal
level, you would send a typed thank you letter.
The content for both handwritten and typed letters
is the same but will be shown below in the “typed”
format.
Remember if you handwrote your thank you letter
you will not need to address the inside of your
note as you would in the typed version.
